Do you miss your derby girls?  We miss you, too!  Stop by Humboldt Outfitters on 11th & G, Arcata this Friday (December 3rd) between 6pm and 9pm to say hi and pick up a hand-made holiday tree ornament.  The windows will feature fabulous Humboldt Roller Derby window mannequins, plus a “wish bone tree” to benefit the Sequoia Humane Society.  It’s the equivalent of a toy wish tree for kids – but for needy animals!  Pets need love during the holiday season, too.

If you’ve ever thought about joining or helping the derby in any capacity (as a skater, ref, official, bout volunteer, or sponsor), Friday will be a great time to stop by and see what it’s all about!  We’ll have representatives there to answer any questions you may have about joining or helping out.  The off-season is also a great time to put on some skates and give it a try!
